Seven Days Without Coffee: Is Ironic

I had to chuckle at the irony.  Day Two of the "Seven Days Without Coffee" challenge began with me sipping tea out of a cup clearly labelled to be used for coffee.

It was my own way to trying to mentally trick myself.  I see the cup sitting there and think "Mmmm... coffee!" Pick up the cup, take a  big sip.  Not coffee.

  1. I wonder really how much coffee one needs to have daily to be even slightly addicted. I wonder because I can actually go without coffee for many days. Sometimes I crave a nice cup of tea, caffeinated or not. But then I only have 1 big mug of coffee a day, usually in the morning. So perhaps I do not qualify. :)

Sorry that I have been missing, Amiga, but I am finally back, blogging on BlogHer. So I will see you around the blogosphere!

    1. Hmm... I don't know. I typically drink at least 3 cups a day. Before this.

  2. I love tea!! And there are so many varieties and flavors. Hopefully, you find some that help you forget that it is a coffee cup and rather savor the tea.

    1. Thanks. I like tea. And during the cold months often enjoy a cup in the afternoons. That makes the switch easier. Right now I think I'm looking for something rich and robust for the mornings to help replace the coffee.
